Well I finished up the Losi Kit electric brake...

I now have a mechanical rear brake and adjustable brake bias.

I would say at max the servo can pull 75 rear 25 front bias, so it works...

I have got it all test mounted up and just need to drill and tap the holes for the long set screws...

Put it this way I run a 1550 on 6s and have to gear at 12/46 and run 95% epa. Its still really fast.

The Z-Car does almost the same thing you are talking about and parts are cheap for it. You might want to look into that brake assembly and see if you can scrounge up anything.

I might try that 1350 too, but I am still waiting to collect data on some more stuff before I try a different motor. Specifically 12t/46t I was seeing initial very good results.

Not true at all. The amps flowing when the duty cycle is on are higher when the motor is geared higher no matter what the epa is. When it is geared lower it requires less amps.
