yeah throw them away because either the tire will hook up good on a track or they just simply wont work. Theres no way to improve traction on a tire with tread that doesnt work for that surface.

Ive compared tapers and x 3000's and find tapers are much better on a hard packed clay track with no loose soil on top. I tried x 3000 on the same surface and def noticed the difference in traction....
