well thats one way to reshim it I guess....

That shim behind your collet is used to make sure your gear mesh lines up correctly... the shims to use for spacing the bell will be on the front side...

definate CLUTCH bell problem... pull the bell off, throw the bearings,shoes and springs away, start fresh...

as for break in, heat cycle method works best... its pretty easy, its all stated in...
