7 packs isn’t very much and by all means the slipper should be able to be locked and not break metal driveline parts. Thank you for your reply, I have not broken anything in the drivetrain yet either

I would think so actually but on the other hand do they all always swell to the same size at the same time? More likely not and more likely handling inconsistencies
