Shimo

The shimo chassis is super ridgid.Made out of a higher grade aluminium.
The 3 racing seems much softer.
Go with the shimo I recon.

engine problem

Check to see that the flywheel is tight on the shaft.Then reassemble the clutch as usual,normal clearances.
Try again.

These cars only go as fast as you squeeze the throttle.Sport or pro.
So it is up to the controller as to the cars destiny.

Rear diff

I have been told that you need to change the rear diff oil to compensate for the constant drive from the front.
If I remember correctly you need to stiffen considerably.

WIDE BUMPER

A bit of soft heat from a blow torch or similar will put the bumper back to its original shape,ready to go again.
You could also mould it yourself slightly turning up the outside edges.

I have the fw05r and even though it is in a difficult position and size,you can still adjust it.

You need good light so you can spot the hex screw spot on.

Great car

Spent part of the day testing on wednesday at the track and
for the first time running the fw05 it was great.

Suffered a little understeer entering corner and a bit too much
off power exiting...

If the receiver thing worries you that much you could get the FW05S top deck that completely encases the receiver/battery etc.

The tune pipe is all about fitting properly with gasket and zip ties,...

Weight transfer

Hey NiMo,
I like the idea of moving the battery forward as I always had trouble with on power understeer.
More forward weight will certainly help.
Any other setup ideas?
