Those old 5800 novak motors are 8.5 turns, but the bonded rotor instead of sintered adds a that extra 800 kv but is missing good chunk of torque. Not a bad 2wd buggy motor if you can keep it cool.

It doesn't hurt to swap electronics in trying to isolate the problem. Definitely try the savox.

Everywhere. The rear end will just be more planted overall, but you might find yourself with more more under-steer than you bargained for. Check lap times to see if it helped or hurt you.

When the B4 originally came out in 2003 it was flat. All the pros were adding 2-4 shims and when noobs on the internet tried to copy them the ball studs would just pull out with so few threads left...
