Tekin RX8 has a reverse mode for this kind of layouts, i don't know about other sensored 1/8th ESC, but i think they do as well.

I'm running the MMM 2200Kv combo on 3S, geared 20/42 on my Xray 808, temps are around 100-110F for the ESC and batteries, motor is close to 140F.

I can get more than 30 minutes from an 8000mah...
