I have been running my little bitty blue mount for a season in a half, and had no issues with missaligned gears or broken chassis plate. I will be replacing my spur and pinion for the first time next...

Well Joe one thing you could do with the cast part is polish it, atleast it will look better. Nice and shiny.

That might be so, but the original one is more expensive to produce than that cast piece they through in. I can't say I ever had a problem with my half plastic mount, and it looks better than that...
