I agree with you but there is no need to buy a $100 lipo to be competitive inless you are racing in a serious level kind if racers .

Honestly 4x4 sc has got more compitive I've noticed this year from racing in the class so do tracks really want to allow 3s .

If you gear the motors right and have a clip on heat sink your electronics and 2s lipos will last a good amount of time on 4x4 sc . Depends on how hard you are on the throttle and steering .
