i don't think so. I have both and motor mount holes don't line up. Bulkheads, servo and center weights, suspension mounts and bumper do though

Stuff in the middle that will work are the servo mount, steering wipers, diff carrier, center weight,...

running a 2016 as well, there's a small hole right below the servo horn where it goes. The 10g weights also screw in the same hole. I forget if you can use the other side since the battery tape mount...

I'm at 1352 grams with one of the 15g front weights installed on the servo side with the 20G weight in the middle. Quite happy with the results of teh corner balance i'm at 49/51 L/R and 50/50 F/R.

could be your o-rings are swollen, pressing hard the washer under the pin. I had that same problem and my diffs felt really tight and gritty. My 3k diff felt heavier than a 5k diff from an older car....

thanks RedbullFiXX, i just find it odd that in my old BD5 and BD7 gear diffs, never had that problem and they are all still tight after years of use whereas my new 2016 diffs, even after several runs...
