Axle slop ?

How do tighten up the axles ? I see Kyosho makes 8x10 shims
There is quite a bit of slop in those axles, especially the fronts.
Will shims take care of that or are new cvd's the way to go ?

Protoform PF8 body

Doesn't fit too good. Line up the front wheels in the wheel openings
and the rear wheels are almost out the back. Isn't there a spec on
GT cars ? What bodies fit well ?
