Thats the same set up that I use! its a good combo IMO. I even turn my current limiter down to 75-80% and throttle down to 85% and it still beats nitros! I can average about 19 min with this set...

Thats a pretty good set up with the stock springs if you're running on a smoothe surface or an indoor track.

I personally use 45 front and 35 rear with 10X1.1 tapered pistons for hard pack outdoor...

I've talked to the guys at Tekin about gearing and I have a 2050 geared at 20/45 and a 1700kv geared at 22/45. temps are spot on. I would gear your motor at 19/45

It seems weird i know, but...

Not really. The RC8Be is a pretty tough buggy! the only recomendation i would make is change the plastic wing supports to the blue aluminum ones found on the RC8B and make sure you threadlock them....

I talked to a Team Tekin driver a couple weeks ago and he said that the 1900 is the hot ticket, and judging with how his car was, I would have to agree.

I personally run a 1700 with a 22T pinion...
