Well...that's the simplest way to look at it. Yes. A higher "C" rating will result in a battery that can discharge harder. But you must also take the Mah (Milliamp per Hour) rating into the equation....

Convert the Mah to Amp Hours by dividing 1000...

Convert the Mah to Amp Hours by dividing 1000 into the Mah. Then just multiply the Mah by "C" rating and that's the constant amperage.


(3200/1000)x20=64 amps
3.2x20=64 amps

3.6x25=90 amps
