Ill fully tighten my diff, back it off 1/16 of an inch break in the diff, then I set my slipper til my front tires barely comes of the table wile holding both wheels. About an inch or less

Thats the gear diff its less up keep, most will say performance wise it lacks but unless your on your way to becoming a factory driver and can run most of a race without wrecking than a ball...

To me battery forward it seem you get more rear...

To me battery forward it seem you get more rear traction going from high speed to low speed, but with battery back i seem to get better traction from low speed to high

I use stock steering rack no lube nothing and...

I use stock steering rack no lube nothing and just let it break in on its own never had a problem. It will be a little tight at first.

I had rear traction issues like that before and...

I had rear traction issues like that before and mine was usually one of two things my inner rear hub bearings were bad or my shocks emulsion style were not built correctly by bleeding to much oil...
