The 44.1 to 44.2 shorty requires plastic 44.2 battery trays, 44.2 center slipper (and front 44 crush tubes for added length), 44.2 center cap, rear center 44.2 bone.

This is the same as the B4 diff rebuild but for B44. They don't give you the 3/32" balls for either.

Hi guys...The answer is that you're right. It's not possible. The 2 drive cups are both locked to the center shaft. The slipper is not de-coupled so you can't adjust front/rear bias.
