If you're running a low profile servo, that back servo mount you screwed on needs to be flipped. It works for low profile and regular size servos. If you're running a full servo, you leave the mount...

Granted the M05 is a bargain considering you get the body and ESC/motor combo and tires, but If you can go with the 07, I would. Aside from the front steering knuckles, the M07 is real good.

The...

I can't speak to the sealed gear diffs listed, but I have used the ta03 ball diff. When we ran silver can motors, it was the setup to run, but I tore through it in no time with brushless. Had better...

The ball diff when real tight is good on asphalt with brushed in my experience. 21.5 brushless I wore it out quick. If you don't have the ball diff, you can add extra washers under the beveled gears...

Something to always check too is that the shock bottoms are "loose" on the bottom ball stud—able to freely roll on the ball. When running a shorter length shock, with the bottoms screwed in a lot,...

I used to always be a huge fan of a ball diff on asphalt. Recently I tried a stock gear diff with 3 washers per side, a bunch of AW grease and set pretty darn tight. It was just as good as a ball...

Gab, I have to agree with giaplex here, I would try without the spacers first if you're running the stock knuckles. The setup I posted should be a good start for medium grip asphalt.

Don't forget...
