I did not grind either the car or the case. It fits only one way and that is with the battery leads emerging to the front, drivers left. The taper in the case requires that the case be positioned...

For those with SMC Lipos. I just ran the 4000 and 5000 this weekend at the Region 5 champs and while I have no complaints on the batteries at all, I do have to retract an earlier post and say that...

Nelarozi,
It could be that your lipo just needs to be balanced. I've noticed a lot of guys recently that have had that problem. If you don't have a balancing charger you can do it manually by...

vabroom,

Nelarozi,
I have started to run the SMC 28c 5000 and so far been pleased with the results. It is a VERY TIGHT fit in the R but will fit. I can't say anything one way or the other about runtime...

I've been running 3200's all season and have been perfectly happy with them. Like I said earlier, I tried the 3600 and thought it was flat in comparison. Trust me you will not see a difference. ...

When I looked at getting the 3600 into the car it seemed that pretty drastic changes were needed to fit it in without modding the case. It seemed any potential benefit gained by the pack was quickly...
