I'm not real familiar with the Xcelorin so this is kinda a guess but I think I'm correct. I do not believe the Losi has the boost options of the Tekin. I don't think it can run in either sensored...

Its not that hard to do especially if you buy a conversion kit. There is an 1/8 scale gas to electric conversion thread on RCtech somewhere... and even better is www.rcmonster.com. Check it out.
