Tearing will pretty much happen with any soft compound from any manufacturer when you do a lot of sliding (like truggy) or simply run on high bite surfaces. The SC8 is the ultimate drift machine too....

City Blocks are the tire of choice when the track is still loamy.

AKA tires are designed to fit the AKA rim, which is a diameter larger than the old racing standard of the past. I believe the max up rim is a similar size diameter to the AKA rim.

Soft City Blocks work great there. I went with med. city blocks in the main and like Jesse said, they were a bit too loose.
