Usually the engine is too rich on the bottom when that happens. Also if you drive a mugen it is very common with any engine.

Flush on the housing. The slide on the carb is not sealed. The boot just protects from dirt. No engine is sealed there. If you keep having issues you can send the engine to us and we can look at it...

My TX is about 12-14 hours in from flush on the top and the bottom is maybe slightly in from flush, 5th plug.

It sounds to me like the engine is all over the place which is not normal for sure....
