As it turns out it wasn't the spektrum, it was the KO Helios in High Speed Response mode. I picked up a couple of JR DS368 digital micro servos and all is well now.

SO you're using 85MG with a spektrum then? ...I just built an NT18 and put two of those puppys in there, one I think got fried as it just doesn't work anymore, the other break dances ...I can hook...

Does anyone know a midro servo (same dimensions as a Hitech 81MG) that will work with a spektrum? Apparantly it's putting out to much volage for Hitec 81MG/s
