Make sure the wheel nuts are tight, transmitter is fully charged and the tires are glued properly. "Go that way really fast, and if something gets in your way....turn."

I had the same issue with mine. It was about a half millimeter off. I had to unscrew both screws all the way, get them in the holes and crank down and Pray that I didn't crossthread my motor or...
