So +2 shims on each side brings it back to the track width with the old rims and should fix any rubbing. Hope that hex is deep haha

So the new wheels have a +2 offset? That's actually the opposite of what I suspected....figured they would be narrower and causing the rim to rub.

Yep, correct. For some reason, wheelbase has seemed to become synonymous with a measurement of all 4 wheels, most of the time I just roll with it and ask for front to back or side to side measurement...

Speaking of wheel base, how do the new rims sit on the car? Wondering if the offset is the same as the old rims. It would explain a lot if the offset was deeper.

Where does it rub on the arm? Think I would rather nick the arm a bit with a dremel rather than screwing with my track width. Depends on where it's hitting the arm I guess...
