The aluminum chassis weighs 40 grams more than CF and the shorty conversion reduced weight by 80 grams so your still 40 grams lighter with a stiffer chassis.

The b54 has held up pretty well my driving has more like torture testing! The b5 arms are definitely stronger than b44 but not as strong as rpm.
