I have heard the speed control will run 4s without problems. An issue I have heard of is the BEC circuit. You may need a separate BEC to manage your reciever and servo's power needs.

That will be true in comparing any two motors with differing kv. The key is to gear whatever motor you get for best overall performance and longevity and accept whatever top speed results from that.
