That was just a comment to get opinion's on if a tub chassis style of car would help bring people back to touring car racing. The cost being the big factor of what we see now, $350+ touring cars.

If the track was smooth wouldn't you want more of a rebound? Whereas, if the track was bumpier you would want less rebound so it didn't look like a pogo stick going around the track?

There are a few Type-R's at the Stock Rubber...

There are a few Type-R's at the Stock Rubber Nationals this weekend. I know Brian Lutz and Josh Hohnstein are running them. I think they are both in the top 5.

It helps the body keep its shape when it is at speed. With these lite bodies it seems any additional bracing/support helps.
