It came stock with a 540 brushed motor and a wire wound resistor speed controller. Looks like the 9T is a drop in size wise...

Motor / ESC recommendation

I have a vintage 1/12 Tamiya 962 and would like to update the motor/ESC in it. What would be a good setup for this? I'm not going to get into racing with it, just do some parking lot screaming etc....
