Mine has maybe more than I would like but it's toeout as it compresses and toein as it rises so thats ok by me. More toe turns in better and less toe tracks straighter.

Stainless, no thanks. The only advantage of stainless is it doesn't rust. But it's generally weaker and no lighter than steel screws.

The first number is the diameter of the wire. The second number is indeed the number of coils. More coils mean a longer wire. The longer the wire the softer the rate (given the same diameter of wire).

the whole chassis flexes, make the hole a little bigger (remove material from the side thats chewed) then stick one of those foam body washers underneath to keep it from rattleing around.

I would suggest you go a bit beyond the shocks....

I would suggest you go a bit beyond the shocks. Take every suspension arm hinge pin out and clean the pins and the holes, check each piece individually for fit. Check every ball/cup is free as well....

Setups are available from many sources. Use the box setup and go from there....

How are you going to disable the braking circuit of the motor/esc ?
Unless you can figure out a way to have the ESC...

don't worry about hurting anything by being too low, landing a 40 foot long jump 10 feet off the ground is the test. And you have to do that 20 times a heat 4 times a day at the races so buck up. ;)
