All that stuff is what forums are for IMO. IDK, I wouldn't buy an engine based on who was selling it. I couldn't care less - as long as the price is right. If something were really wrong with it...

That's just one of the reasons I don't buy $500 engines.. Yeah, that would suck. I think at 200 bucks and less though it's a bit different. It would be really rare I think to have a major issue...

I personally don't see the big deal with customer support, especially with engines. Once you've started it you're on your own and a warranty is mostly useless anyway.

I did though recently discover that in Germany they actually are quite cheap.. In the US...
