I have been running 78/21 with a 13.5 and I can run 20 minutes without the motor going over 120F. It is a very small track so top end isn't useful. I am using the original fan setup and a Motiv MC4.

Yes, all of Losi previous 4wd platforms were belt driven. XX4, XXX4, 22-4. 22-4 was a remake of the XX4 with metric hardware and some other changes.
