The summit use the same esc with one motor. The esc is good for 16.8 volts which would be a fully charged 4s lipo.

I looked on the traxxas website but it doesn't say how much voltage per side. But I'm sure you could have ran one of there 775 motors with that esc.

I looked up the motors for the emaxx and the are rated at 14 volts and are 550 the ones you bought are 540. I hope it works.

Are you using them withe stock speed control? The motors you bought are rated for 7.2 volts the stock traxxas are 14 volt. Hope you don't burn up those motors.

Sorry if you think I was being rude. Just go with the stock motors until you can afford a good 1/8 scale brushless system that way your aren't wasting money on something that might not work.

Don't make the the mistake of going all aluminum it will just make it heavier and cause heat issues. I have a t maxx nitro and need that and had to put a bigger motor just to make as fast as a stock...

They where made for the older emaxx when the motors where mounted on opposite sides. You really need to do some research before you buy things.

A 380 sized motor will not be enough for a emaxx it will overheat very fast. They don't make a small enough pinion for a 4300 kv motor. You need at least a 550 brushless but bigger would be better....
