Just read and follow the instructions for batteries on the SMC website. This should be identical to the written instructions that come in the bottom of the packaging that your SMC cells came in.

Not to be speaking for the SMC boys; but, I consider the DPD as being a very good cell "equalizer" only. I generally don't use it as a "discharger" per say. I do use a Deans bulb discharger (20A)...
