I run the 2024 XB2c at Hoosier, a high bite sealed clay track. Car generates a ton of grip and way more steering than anyone would need. What part of the corner are you having issues with grip?

i race at Hoosier weekly. Popular ESCs there would be hobbywing, trinity, R1. The hobby wing stock pro is plenty fine for anything up to 13.5. The R1 stock ESC is a bit more “powerful” on paper.

the cars are very durable. I have xb2 and xb4 both 23s and both dirt. I have only broke a front arm on the b4 and that was me sending it at the end of a race and I may or may not have hit the corner...

you can use the carpet springs which are shorter. You can also cut the top coil which will stiffen the spring a bit and allow you a bit lower ride height. I’m on high bite clay and run at 18 front...
