Additionally, the noise stops if I disconnect the arm that connects the servo to the steering mechanism.

Actually, I do own a Slash and have raced it several times at Leisure Hours... But because I like "technical" hobbies, I really wanted to build a car and choose the B44 because I enjoy watching you...
