RB's part #1258-9B 9mm or 1256-8 8mm carbs are good choices, so are the Novarossi's part #24063 9mm or 24060 8.5mm carbs.

They are fuel line plugs. I use the double plug when I remove my engine, to keep crud out of the lines. The single one on a small piece of line to keep the fuel nipple clean.

Grinder knows RB's for sure.:nod: I would check the needle O rings and carb boot as well. It sounds like it may have sucked the element out of the plug and damaged the piston( I hope not ). Good luck...

I would suggest you open up the idle a little....

I would suggest you open up the idle a little. The mechanical pinch of the motor can snuff them out until they break in some. Once it is broken in some you can turn it back down. :tire:

I normally use a McCoy 59, you may want to try one or a Odonnell 77. If you can find a RB 2020 or a RB 3002 pipe to try I think you'll like how it "feels".:)

I went from a JP2 to the RB 2020 and it helped the bottom. I tend to run the bottom a bit fat, it seems to lean out after its heat saturated.:)
