I replaced an arm ran a couple of laps then broke again. Pulled everything off and discovered that the hinge pin was slightly bent. You need to check the pin to verify it is not bent.

Some guys "cook" their pipes in a crock pot with anti-freeze. This is supposed to clean the inside and outside to make it like a new pipe. Personally have not tried it , yet.

That is correct about the LiFe batteries. No regulator needed and not as volatile as the LiPo batteries. The LiFe will still swell some but are less likely to catch on fire.

I use the stick. Haven't had any issues with it. Don't have to worry about drying out, getting hard or leaking.
