From what I've heard Asso balls looked like they were 0,1mm smaller (or so) than Tamiya so the movement was not as smooth as Asso/Asso combination... I never tried the Tamiya balls/Asso links...

Upper arms are bending sometimes, spare spur gear and if You use high-traction t-bar it could be demaged even though it looks OK but the car reacts strangely.

How about some damper grease to stop the oil leak... I use it for silicone o-ring and rubber cap in TRF shocks and it works well.
