Here's the aluminum bearing holder I'm talking about. Sand it down about 1 millimeter. Then you can have some clearance.

Sand down the aluminum bearing holder on the side that moves the ring away from the pinion. Doesn't take much. I've had the same problem.

Mine peeled like crazy and I never have that problem. Painted another JC Silencer and not one little chip. That is really weird that the lexan would do that as I paint tons of body without this issue.

It's because they are stripping the threads out and then not removing the plastic left on the threads. It will just keep happening until they figure it out. And they are probably not using the droop...

You probably don't have the cv boots on correct. You have to get the lip on the axel perfectly and the alum retainer will pop on perfectly. A little grease will help
