Long chassie conversion

Just picked up a long chassie kit for my S-3 and was just wondering, how long should the front and rear chassie braces be? The instructions are a little gray in this area. Any ideas would help,...

I am giving up on my TTR S-3 and am looking at either the 777 sp1 w/ a sp2 conversion for $600 ar the 777 truggy for $700. Any ideas between the two? Just wondering.
