got some new wheels today, the rears are PN R14 BBS, I had two sets of PN Parada 5* so I cut one set up to make some 14mm wide tires. Fronts are +3 BBS with 30* kyosho slicks. Cant wait till Saturday...

My guess is since the motors aren't synchronized they are fighting each other, an easy way to test this theory is to pull one pinion off and see if it runs better that way.
