Yea I wouldnt see why that wouldnt work, its a brushed esc, so assuming youve got a brushed motor in your xmod it will. But take note, you will need a 2.4ghz radio, receiver and a micro servo as well.

You mean using a convention 3 wire servo as opposed to a 5 wire one? If thats the case, than any micro board that does not have a built in receiver can accept a 3 wire servo.
