I've never had a belt break. On 2 different cars, and thousands of laps. Nobody I know prefers a shaft drive over belt drive. Do yourself a favor and go belt-drive.

The Sakura XI kit is cheap enough to buy an extra whole kit to have 100% of spares on hand.

Also, it's basically an Xray clone and many parts are interchangeable and could work in a pinch.

You adjust ride height by screwing the spring collars up and down the shock bodies.
