I still use an 086 pipe on my 9 port Nova motors...

I still use an 086 pipe on my 9 port Nova motors and they have worked great. Downside is that its not a 3-chamber pipe so it will be much louder and cannot be used in races.

If I were to close the idle anymore then it wouldn't start up. It will idle stable for several minutes then something happens and the engine just revs up like crazy even though the carb stays closed...
