we have to use one-way/spool pulley with the gear diff. tamiya uses 3 screws to secure the pulley to the one-way/spool unit, while the photon geardiff uses 4 screws, hence the different holes...

for those who are interested...

i managed to fit top photon gear diff into my 416x, the gear diff itself is a direct fit with the bulkheads. you need to drill extra holes in the pulley though.

i used the universals and had no problem on regular use, i am using it with 11.5T brushless motor and tekin RS esc (with turbo)

i secured the pins with heatshrinks instead of grub screw and well...

if i remember correctly, these are not direct fit to 416 outdrives, useable but too much tolerance, it will still slip against the outdrives. not sure how they go against FF03 outdrives

the upper deck will only fit 416X (because the rear end of 416X is different from 416WE in terms of upper deck screw holes)

those are the normal diff plates, they don't lock on to the outdrives. anyway as far as i know of, there isn't any. 3racing made a set of outdrives and matching diff plates that can lock onto them...
