Surely if they were so toxic they would be banned all round the world and not so commercially available these days?

If so i was in this drivers heat and heard it go in the warm up for that race.

Just spoke with the race director , not one driver approached Brad with tyre failures. Brad stated this was by far the lowest return rate for any event he has held.

Admittedly the NSW champs...

To my knowledge i heard of one tyre , with all the practice and race tyres which in total was around 600 + sets.

I attended most of the warmup club events and probably used more sets than anyone...

I paid $250 usd a class for 2 classes at a worlds, the dollar at the time was around .60
