trans ratio is 38/13=2.92
Wheel diameter is 100mm

The top version of my car runs
100mm diameter wheels
2724kv brushless

bought the hobbyking rebrand, had no issues programming it by the hobbywing manual, running turnigy 2s 5000 20c battery only 10 discharges on it

17t pinion got hot almost uncomfortable, just tried a 21 and got even hotter, just changed wheel bearings, if i run the stock brushed motor i can run pack after pack (5000mah) and no heating issues...
