I use the Mugen shock ends, and has since i got the car. never tried the associated ones really. Have not had any problems with them.

Maybe add a set of shock caps, they are in a set with damper plastics or something, then you probably have parts forever, thing is a tank :)

After rebuilding the D413 to shorty config my temps have been very nice, being abit lighter makes the buggy more responsive and agile, even tho having saddles in the rear made it very very well...

mostly for weight and responsiveness i would guess, i just have alot of saddles so i stuck with them, i also think it helpes me on our bumpy astro tracks with keeping the buggy planted
