Some of them you can use a hobby grade transmiter if you know the chanel.

On my original turbo scorpion i only broke a tie rod and striped a spur gear. The shock collars broke too. But the rerelease fixed that and the gears with the slipper...

traxxas hawk shocks and driveline

I have a traxxas hawk with the white plastic shocks. They bind in the mid stroke area. Shafts look straight. All 4 corners are like this. Is this comon on this truck?

Seems to me you need to do something more involved than bolting on a strong springy antenna...
