I will second this. Watched a guy bend his Al chassis on his Pro5 last Sunday on not that big of a hit.

I'm more on the 'budget' side of racing so I am staying away from the Al chassis for now.

Short answer: Aluminium adds weight low. Thicker carbon will actually raise your center of gravity.

Seen a few Al chassis lately tweak with decent board hits, they are not as tough as CF.

Most any of the latest ROAR approved motors are going to out perform the TP. I would personally look at Motiv, TSR, and Fantom. My 2 cents.

See any fast, national level guys running TP...

For those that converted a TB04, with its soft foam bumper, a proper bumper makes a huge difference in C-hub breakages. Im running a xray hard foam one.

+2 on softer springs. I just went softer in front from Pink to Silver and it was money. Turn in was much more controllable. Running C Blocks. Silver HPI's all around.

FWIW mine is not exactly filled fully and im running plastic internals and the diff is as old as the TB04 I raced last season it came out of. :D:D
