I think most drivers remove their top deck much...

I think most drivers remove their top deck much more often than they change spur gear so I don't really see this as a problem.

Someone a few pages back has made a FDR chart showing the clearance. I don't have the VMM but with the stock motor mount you can fit a 33t or perhaps a 34t (it's a tight fit, I wasn't comfortable...

Nothing, it fit right in. It's a bit wide though so it's possible it doesn't clear the topdeck on the T4.
